People seem to think that the way that they do things is right, therefor its the only way it can be done correctly. When in all reality there are several different solutions for the majority of problems, some easier than others and more practical, but still more than one way. Ever heard of "There's no wrong way to eat a Reese's".Some people seem to be uncomfortable with the idea that many problems don't have a single solution. There are also people who analyze the problem and come up with several different ways of solving a problem.
A huge controversy is abortion right now, to allow it or ban it, choice or life? Those may appear to some people as the only answers, but to others they have different views. Such as banning abortion, with exceptions such as rape victims. Many don't look at this solution as an option at all, that their way is the only way and we should ban it completely. Others believe that the only solution is to leave it up to the mother and let her choose. There are several solutions and to different people, there is only one. Why is that? I believe that it is due to different things depending on the person, possibly how they were raised or just what they believe.
There are most likely several different reasons as to why people may be uncomfortable with the idea that many problems don't have just a single solution. Some possibilities include ,Hardheadedness ,Comfort Zones, Beliefs, or maybe Tradition. There is always going to be the conflict of who’s way is better, could it be that both solutions may work just as effectively? Many times this is the case, Our opinion is who we are in a sense and why would we change that?
